Letter to Mr. President

Dear Mr. President,


     I the student of Ilocos Sur National High School, I just want to congratulate on your recent election to the presidency of the Philippines. I am grateful that you are trying your best to be a great leader for our country.

      As concern citizen, we write to you with specific recommendations related to human rights like extra judicial killings, then lack of accountability for abuses by the security forces, the children's right and health rights.

       As president it is your responsibility to protect the rights and freedoms of all Filipinos. Being a concern citizen, i want that we Filipinos should live comfortably in our own nation.

     In two months I've learned so many things that I can surely apply it to my daily life. We learned about things, about the internet,different engines, blogs and more      I know we all experience problem while we're studying, I experience not knowing to manage my time we'll,  I experience getting stressed. I also experienced getting lazy to do my tasks. I overcome it all because I have my friends around me, they are always there for me. And of course my family is the main reason why I keep in going on and I know that god will always guide me.      Moving on, I will try my best. I will try to focus more on my studies. Resiliency of Filipinos during Disaster

     The Philippines is one of the most vulnerable countries in the world to disaster and climate change. For populations subsisting at the poverty line in particular, but also the nation as a whole, daily lives and wellbeing are routinely challenge. The Philippines government takes disaster risk seriously and has devoted and locally.      Typhoons and storms, which make up 58% of all disasters in the country, related flooding 25% and landslide 6% pose the greatest threats to the country. Storms surpass all other disaster in terms of number of facilities. People affected and economic damage.      The Philippines Government, INGOS and local NGOS are all making attempts to address climate change and disasters at various levels. However, many resources put aside for this purpose are re-directed to emergency response when disaster strike, such as typhoon Yolanda in November 2013, and the flash floods caused by typhoon sendong in Mindanao in December 2011.      The nutrition month theme in 2018 is “Ugaliing magtanim sapat na nutrition ay aanihin”. The nutrition month 2018 aims to improve the healthy food consumption of Filipinos, food security or food to be self- sufficient as possible with backyard gardening. Nutrition is one of the primary aspects in today’s lifestyle. We need motivation for everything in life to stay focused. Hippocrates said, our food should be our medicine and our medicine should be our food.      Eating healthy meals staying away from junk food can be difficult for most of us. We all know the importance of fruit and vegies in our body, so in order for us to have a healthy lifestyle, we should consider eating fruits and vegies and avoid eating junk foods. We all know that disease is everywhere that can be easily catch by our body. We should eat healthy foods and we should start planting more fruits and vegetables so we can have a self- sufficient people. We should eat healthy foods so we can avoid malnutrition.
